Using the stickers
You may use Zareef’s stickers in your personal conversations however you like. What you may not do: sell them, put them in another app, or claim you drew them.
The rights to every drawing stay with the artist who drew it. You get the right to use them, not to own them.
The artist owns the character
A character you draw stays yours alone. Zareef claims no ownership of it, no rights beyond the ones set out below, and does not stop you publishing, selling or using it anywhere else.
What you grant us is a non-exclusive licence to the stickers you submitted, to publish them in the Zareef app and on its website, and to show them in material introducing the app. It does not extend to your character in other work, and it does not let us license it to a third party.
If you want your pack withdrawn, write to us and we stop offering it. Stickers people added to WhatsApp before that stay on their phones, because deleting them from there is not ours to do.
Submission rules
What you submit must be drawn by you, and yours to publish. We do not accept characters owned by somebody else, drawings derived from other people’s work, or anything that infringes another person’s rights.
Nor do we accept abuse, incitement, or indecent content, or anything that breaks WhatsApp’s or Google Play’s rules.
You are responsible for the ownership of what you upload. If work you submitted turns out not to be yours, we remove it, and any claim arising from it is yours to answer.
Review and removal
Everything submitted is reviewed before it is published, and we may decline any work — we are not obliged to publish.
We may also remove a published pack or suspend an account that breaks these terms, or where we receive a serious claim about the ownership of the work. We tell the artist why.
Your account
You are responsible for your account. If it is used improperly, tell us.
We may close an account used in ways that harm the app or the people using it.
Packs and gifts
A gift code is used once. The first person to redeem it gets the pack on their account.
Packs you receive stay tied to your account, so you can reach them from any phone you sign in on.
The app as it is
We do what we can to keep Zareef working properly, but we cannot guarantee it will run without fault on every phone at every moment.
Zareef adds stickers to WhatsApp, and WhatsApp is not ours. If WhatsApp changes how it works, that may affect the app.
