About Zareef
Zareef is an Arabic sticker app. The idea is simple: the stickers most of us use in WhatsApp every day do not look or sound like us. They are either translated, or drawn for an entirely different audience.
We work with Arab artists to make packs that talk in real dialects, with the jokes and situations that actually come up.
We started in Egypt because that is where we are, but Zareef is not an Egypt-only app. The dialects have been in the app since the first day — Egyptian, Gulf, Levantine and Modern Standard — and the packs coming next will fill them.
The app works directly with WhatsApp. Pick a pack, tap "Add to WhatsApp", and it is in your keyboard.
Zareef is made by Big Cat, an Egyptian animation studio.
