Zareef

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 August 2026

The short version

Zareef collects the least it can to work: an account so your packs stay yours, and some optional information that helps us decide what to draw next. We do not sell your data to anyone, and there are no ads in the app.

What we collect

The first time you open the app, an anonymous account is created for you — a random identifier with no personal information attached. This is what lets your packs stay with you even if you never sign in.

One thing about your birth date

When usage data is sent, we send an age band ("25–34") rather than your birth year. The birth year itself stays on your account and is never sent to analytics.

Notifications

If you follow an artist or character and switch the bell on, your phone subscribes to notifications about their new packs. That subscription belongs to the phone and stops as soon as you switch the bell off. We do not send anything else.

Who can see your data

Your data is stored on Firebase, a Google service. Google runs the servers but does not use your data for its own purposes.

No third party receives your data. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising.

Deleting everything

In Settings → Delete account you can remove your account completely. This deletes everything stored about you — your packs, your follows, and your personal details — and deletes the account itself.

Packs saved on your phone are removed when you uninstall the app.

If you want a copy of your data, or have any question, email hello@zareef.app.

Age

Zareef is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

If this changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for anything significant we will tell you inside the app.
